Project Manager Airport Construction

A client of ours is looking for a Project Manager in Saudi Arabia (KSA) with renovating experience of existing airports.
De location in KSA is Dharaan which is near the Bahrain border.

The Project Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating constructing engineering projects (new-build or renovation) at the airport site.
You will attend to the start-up and guidance for the renovation projects.
You will oversee and inspect the execution of the projects in detail as well as helicopter view.
As part of your post, you will be constantly in touch with engineering consultancy agencies, contractors and various stakeholders involved in the construction projects.
You will ensure administrative project follow-up and handle the communications and correspondence with in-house and outside parties.
You will make sure that all health and safety regulations in place at the airport are duly complied with during the course of the projects.
You will assist the various parties with the permit procedures for specific construction projects.
Along with the business partners, you will analyze the needs and seek out alternative solutions.
You will handle the financial-administrative follow-up of the projects and record the relevant details in the ERP system.

You are a qualified industrial or civil engineer, majoring in construction engineering.
You have at least 10 years’ experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
You have a consummate understanding of the building trades.
You are fluent in English
You have a solid understanding of the administrative processes involved in the design and construction process.
Your analytical skills enable you to weigh pros and cons and make comparisons to arrive at the appropriate construction engineering solutions.
You have good communication skills, leadership qualities and a sense of diplomacy.
You are impervious to stress and adaptable.
